South Africans, as we all know, are resourceful and resilient.
And this came home to us when a longtime friend advised us that on her fixed pension she could no longer donate as frequently as she would like – but she had secured her caring for people living with cancer with a future gift.
That gift was a bequest in her Will. We were deeply touched by her future generosity, but also grateful that she’d shared this information with us, which gave us the opportunity to thank her appropriately.
