Sad news

So many CANSA friends were deeply touched towards the end of last year by the story of young Elsa* who was receiving palliative care through our TLC (Tough Living with Cancer) programme at Tygerberg Hospital.

A special ‘Thank You’ goes to everyone who responded with a donation and a message of caring.  Your love joined with ours in giving Elsa the highest possible quality of life until her time ended in December, and also in supporting her family.

Elsa will forever be remembered by her beautiful smile and readiness to give a hug.
